The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) has been continued on probation for 12 months by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). UTRGV remains accredited by SACSCOC while on probation. For more information, including FAQs, click here.

Quality Matters

The Quality Matters Program (QM) is an international organization representing broad inter-institutional collaboration and a shared understanding of online course quality. QM's quality assurance processes have been developed to improve and certify the design of online and blended courses.


Our department has a internal process to assess the quality of online courses named Blueprinting process. The following programs have been reviewed and completed our Blueprinting review process:
