UTRGV Charro Days Door Decorating Contest

RIO GRANDE VALLEY, TEXAS – FEB. 26, 2018 – Organizers of the annual UTRGV Charro Days Door Decorating Contest say this year’s entries across both the Brownsville and Edinburg campuses were especially creative and fun.

The winners were:

• First Place: Team Las Damas – School of Music ($75 prize).
• Second Place: Team Festive Biblioteca – University Library ($50 prize).
• Third Place: Team Como La Flor – Student Support Service Programs/ASPIRE ($25 prize).

The door decorating contest is part of UTRGV Charreada, which celebrates the annual Charro Days festivities.
