The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017, participated in RGV Day at the Texas Capitol. Both the state Senate and House of Representatives passed resolutions recognizing the contributions of the people of the Valley, and UTRGV Founding President Guy Bailey was recognized on the Senate Floor. A delegation of university students and other representatives attended, and UTRGV’s Mariachi Aztlán performed at receptions honoring our Texas legislators.
