Congratulations, Spring Class of 2021!
We’re looking forward to celebrating you during the Spring 2021 Commencement on Friday, May 7th and Saturday, May 8th.

We put together this virtual toolkit to help you celebrate in style! 

  1. UTRGV social media filters: These will help you achieve that “Just Graduated” look. Go ahead. Show off your accomplishment and hard work - we approve!
  2. Selfie Poster:  Show your UTRGV pride by snapping a selfie. These posters will get that point across! The download includes print at home sizes (8.5x 11 and 11x17)

    Here’s how to use them: 
    • Take out your selfie poster and get in your favorite selfie position 
    • Snap a pic with your poster using a smartphone - or record a video and flip the poster around for a boomerang!  
    • Show your V’s up sign. 
    • Post it and let the world know. 
    • Use #UTRGVGrad!
  3. Phone Wallpapers: Hello – who’s this? Just a friendly reminder that your phone can now be as distinguished as you are, smarty pants.

  4. Printable “Proud” Parents Flyers: A little something for the ones that made it all possible. Now mom and dad can’t say you never include them. After all, graduating with a degree from UTRGV is quite a gift – and definitely something to be proud of.

  5. Zoom background: Get on celebration mode during that video chat!

    Instructions on how to set up virtual backgrounds on Zoom:  

    • Open Zoom 
    • In a Zoom meeting click the ^ arrow located next to the start/stop video button 
    • Click Choose a virtual background 
    • Click the + button to add image 
    • Select the file you want - you’re all set!
