Wellness

Residency training is a challenging period in a physician’s career owing to the multitude of stressors perhaps not previously encountered.  Well-being in all of its dimensions, psychological, emotional and physical, is critical in the development of a competent, caring and resilient physician.

Resident wellness is an institutional priority in graduate medical education.  The Office of Graduate Medical Education is committed to ensuring that residents remain physically and mentally healthy while completing their training programs. We aim to promote work-life balance and overall wellness by advocating for you and providing you with tools to reduce burnout, depression, and other problems.
