Lieberman, UTRGV School of Medicine interim dean, updates UT Regents on progress to date
Dr. Steven A. Lieberman, interim dean of the UTRGV School of Medicine, on Wednesday, Feb. 8, addressed the UT System Board of Regents’ Health Affairs Committee in Austin, providing an update on the progress of the UT System’s newest medical school.

UTRGV med students spend month in the field, engage with underserved population
Medical students attending the South Texas Environmental Education and Research (STEER) Program at the UTRGV School of Medicine recently accompanied a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency representative to the Donna Reservoir and Canal Superfund Site, where testing has shown fish contain high levels of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), known cancer-causing chemicals.
