What to Expect

There are two ways to complete the mandatory New Student Transfer Orientation

Option 1: Online New Student Transfer Orientation

Once admitted, transfer students will be sent an email with instructions on how to log in and complete the online orientation. You will receive important information about the university and academic policies that might affect you. It will give you a glimpse into the life of a UTRGV student.

Option 2: On Campus Orientation Session

You must reserve your seat and pay your orientation fee prior to attending your session. This option is available to students that prefer a hands on approach. During orientation you will get your student ID, receive information regarding financial assistance and/or student loans, and network with your fellow Vaqueros.
