The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley launched Blackboard's latest product, Blackboard Ally, in Spring 2018. Ally is designed to provide guidance to instructors on how to improve the quality of their content and to provide students of all abilities with immediate access to content in formats that may be more suited to their specific needs.
What is Blackboard Ally?
Blackboard Ally is an exciting new accessibility product that is integrated right into Blackboard Learn. With Ally, students will be able to download alternative accessible file formats such as HTML, Audio, Electronic Braille, and ePub. In addition, Ally will also provide instructor feedback on how to improve the accessibility of their course content.
