Request Meet-Me Conference Calls

Meet-Me Conference Calls are on-campus calls that can be requested two hours in advance of the proposed conference call meeting time and accommodate up to five participants.

  1. Log in to my.utrgv.edu.
  2. Click the ServiceNow icon under Applications.
  3. Click Service Request under Need new service?
  4. Select Self or On Behalf of under Options.
    • NOTE: Select On Behalf of, if you're opening a request on behalf of someone else.
  5. Select Name of person requesting the service.
    • NOTE: Your name is the default. If you're submitting a request on behalf of someone else, click the magnifying glass search icon to search for their name. Verify the user you selected is correct by hovering the mouse pointer over the User Information icon.
  6. Enter the Contact Number of the person requesting the service where they can be contacted directly for a follow-up.
  7. Enter the City, Building, and Room location where the requested service is needed.
    • NOTE: This information is necessary to ensure a technician is dispatched to the correct location.
  8. For Short Description, enter Request Meet-Me Conference Call.
  9. For Service Request Description, include the following information:
    • Conference call date and time
    • Number of participants 
  10. Click Order Now
    • NOTE: If making additional requests, click Add to Cart to continue.

After Submitting the Service Request

  • Telephone Services will send a notification to the conference host with an assigned Conference Call Telephone Number.
  • The conference host must issue the assigned Conference Call Telephone Number to the conference participants.
  • Conference call must be started from a University extension.
  • To join the Meet-Me conference, call the assigned conference telephone number at the scheduled time.
