A. Approve an Access Request

To approve an Access Request:

  1. When an access request is submitted, you will receive an automated email from the UTRGV Service Desk requesting approval or rejection of the Acknowledgements and Compliance Statement (ULA). Click on Click here to approve (RITM #).
  2. An email with Approve in the subject line will pop up. Press Send.
  3. Your supervisor will receive an automated email requesting that they also approve or reject the request. Your supervisor must also click Click here to approve (RITM #).
  4. IT Technical Services will then assign access to the requestor.
  5. The requester will receive access and an email with notes and a fulfilled ticket.

B. Reject an Access Request

 To reject an Access Request:

  1. When an access request is submitted, you will receive an automated email requesting either your approval or rejection of the request. Click Click here to reject (request number).
