Download and Install Adobe Creative Cloud

Previous Adobe Creative Cloud Users:

If you already have Adobe Creative Cloud Manager installed on your computer, you may need to complete the next steps for the new enterprise license to take effect.

  1. Open Adobe Creative Cloud Manager
  2. Click on the Profile Picture and Sign Out
  3. On the pop-up window, Click Sign Out
  4. Enter your UTRGV email and Click Sign In
  5. Click on Enterprise ID
  6. Log in with your UTRGV credentials

NOTE: If the steps above are not successful, you may need to download Creative Cloud Uninstaller.

    1. Download Creative Cloud Uninstaller
    2. Right-click on the file and select extract all.
    3. Right-click on the Creative Cloud Uninstaller file
    4. Select UTRGV Run-Elevated to open the file with PowerBroker
    5. After the unistaller has successfully completed, reinstall Adobe Creative Cloud following the instructions below. 

Installing Adobe Creative Cloud Manager and Applications on UTRGV Computers

NOTE: Close any Microsoft Office applications before starting the installation. Several long pauses are normal.

Windows Users:

Windows computer users can install Adobe Creative Cloud Manager by following the Software Center instructions.

  • NOTE: Install individual Adobe applications by logging into Creative Cloud Manager using your UTRGV credentials.

Mac Users:

Mac computer users can download from Adobe.com and install using PowerBroker

  1. Go to Adobe.com
  2. Click on Sign In
  3. Enter your UTRGV email and Click Sign In
  4. Click on Enterprise ID
  5. Log in with your UTRGV credentials
  6. Under Creative Cloud Apps, Click on Desktop Downloads
  7. Click Download under Creative Cloud
  8. Answer the required questions and Click Continue
    • Indicate your skill level with Creative Cloud
    • Select the type of customer you are
    • Reason for downloading Creative Cloud
  9. Use PowerBroker to complete the installation.
  10. Locate the download file, CreativeCloudSet-up.dmg, and Right-click or Control-click
  11. Select the option UTRGV Run Elevated.

Home Computer Users:

Faculty and Staff enterprise licenses allow for home installations on personal computers. Students must purchase an academic copy from adobe.com for use on a personal computer.

  1. Go to Adobe.com
  2. Click on Sign In
  3. Enter your UTRGV email and Click Sign In
  4. Click on Enterprise ID
  5. Log in with your UTRGV credentials
  6. Under Creative Cloud Apps, Click on Desktop Downloads
  7. Click Download under Creative Cloud
  8. Answer the required questions and Click Continue
    • Indicate your skill level with Creative Cloud
    • Select the type of customer you are
    • Reason for downloading Creative Cloud
  9. Locate the download file, CreativeCloudSet-up.exe, and double-click to Run Installation.
  • NOTE: Install individual Adobe applications by logging into Creative Cloud Manager using your UTRGV credentials.
