Create the Official UTRGV Email Signature in Outlook 2011/16 for Mac

To set up the Standard UTRGV Signature in Outlook 2011/16 for Mac:

All UTRGV employees are required to use the standard UTRGV signature template for emails sent from their UTRGV email account.

  1. Open Outlook 2011/16.
  2. Click Outlook on the menu and select Preferences.
  3. Open Signatures.
  4. Click on the Plus Sign (+) on the bottom left corner.
  5. Double-click Untitled to rename it. (i.e., UTRGV Signature)
  6. Click to check the box next to "My Signature".
  7. Copy and paste the email signature template from the official UTRGV style guide, "link provided at end of web page"
  8. Fill in the template with appropriate information.
  9. Once you are done, click the Default Signature button to make it your signature.
  10. In the window, select your e-mail account.
  11. In the Default Signature, click on the drop down arrow and select your created signature.
  12. Click OK.
  13. Close the Signature window.

    NOTE: Click here for the Official UTRGV Signature Template. When prompted please log in with your UTRGV Email Address and Password.
