Creating a Contact Group/Distribution List

  1. On the Outlook menu at the top of the screen open Preferences.
  2. Under Personal Settings click on General.
  3. Make sure Hide On My Computer folder is unchecked.
  4. Close the General window and click on New on the ribbon and select Contact Group.
  5. Name the group in the Name field at the top.
  6. Double-click the list under Name or E-mail and enter the name or e-mail of the contact you would like to add.
  7. Do this for each person you want to add to the Contact Group, then click Save and Close. The Contact Group is saved in your Contacts folder under the name that you chose.

Edit a Contact Group

  1. In Contacts, open the Contact Group.
  2. To change the group name, edit the text.
  3. To add a member to the group, click the Add button on the toolbar, then enter the name and e-mail address. You can also double-click within a blank name field to add members.
  4. Click Save and Close when edits are complete.

Remove Names from a Contact Group/Distribution List

  1. Submit a service request.
  2. For Short Description, enter Remove a [user email] from the [distribution email] distribution list.
  3. For Service Request Description, enter Remove a [user email] from the [distribution email] distribution list.
