Turn Clutter On or Off

To Turn Clutter On:

  1. Log in to myUTRGV.edu
  2. Click on the Office 365 icon under Applications.
  3. Select Mail from the App Launcher.
  4. Click on the Settings gear icon at the top right corner of the screen.
  5. Under Your app settings, click Mail.
  6. From the menu on the left, click Clutter.
  7. Select Separate items identified as Clutter.
  8. Select Send me notifications about messages that are separated as clutter if you want to receive notifications when email is sent to the Clutter folder
  9. Click Save.

NOTE: Clutter can ONLY be turned On from Outlook Web App (OWA). Outlook on your computer will reflect changes made in Outlook OWA.

To Turn Clutter Off:

  1. Log in to myUTRGV.edu
  2. Click on the Office 365 icon under Applications.
  3. Select Mail from the App Launcher.
  4. Click on the Settings gear icon at the top right corner of the screen.
  5. Under Your app settings, click Mail.
  6. From the menu on the left, click Clutter.
  7. Deselect Separate items identified as clutter.
  8. Click Save.

NOTE: The Clutter folder remains in Outlook even if it is turned off.
