On January 13, 2020 Information Technology (IT) will introduce the Faculty Class Schedule Outlook Calendar Load and also add Microsoft Bookings to the list of applications that are available through Microsoft Office 365.
Faculty Class Schedule Outlook Calendar Load
Faculty Class Schedule Outlook Calendar Load service automatically loads faculty class schedules with meeting times and locations onto their Office 365 Outlook calendar. The calendar load information is taken from the Banner Student Information System class schedule assignments that are finalized by the Office of the Registrar each semester. As with any other calendar event blocked off in Outlook calendars, class times will show as “Busy” without any specific details.
- Collaboration Made Easy
This service makes it easy to work more efficiently by determining individual availability to schedule meetings and facilitate collaboration between faculty and staff.
- Access to Outlook Calendars
Outlook allows access to individual calendars with limited views for privacy and only show times as busy or free. Details of calendar events are not accessible without permission. See Calendar Delegation.
