Employment Eligibility Verification Process
After initiating an I9 online, visit one of the Office of Human Resources locations to present identification documents (original).
2. Access - Employee On Boarding
Activate/Recover your UTRGV Account
If joining UTRGV for the first time, you will receive an email in your personal account provided on the job application with instructions to activate your UTRGV account and set a password.
If you have had a UTRGV domain account before (student or employee), visit My.UTRGV.edu for instructions to Reactivate your account or reset the password
PeopleSoft On-Boarding Activity Guide – User Videos
Upon UTRGV account activation/reactivation and once access has been granted to PeopleSoft in My.UTRGV.edu, please complete your On-Boarding Activity Guide via Employee Self-Service.
3. UTRGV New Employee Orientation (NEO)
Benefit-eligible staff and faculty will receive scheduling details via email regarding the UTRGV New Employee Orientation (NEO) session.
During NEO, new hires are introduced to the university’s culture, mission, priorities, and institutional values. The session offers valuable information on employee benefits and resources to empower new hires and successfully transition into your new role.
