UTRGV, Harlingen CISD sign Dual Credit MOU

Guy Bailey (center), president of The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, met with the Harlingen CISD School Board to sign a Memorandum of Understanding that will let Harlingen students take Dual Credit college courses on pathways designed to meet the university’s core requirements for a bachelor’s degree.

RIO GRANDE VALLEY, TEXAS – AUG. 10, 2017 – Guy Bailey (center), president of The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, met with the Harlingen CISD School Board to sign a Memorandum of Understanding that will let Harlingen students take Dual Credit college courses on pathways designed to meet the university’s core requirements for a bachelor’s degree. Harlingen students also will have the opportunity to take Dual Credit college courses at the Early College High School in Harlingen that lead to careers in education and engineering.
