Leadership Brownsville visits UTRGV for virtual teaching demonstration by Dean McHatton
BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS – JAN. 20, 2017 – Leadership Brownsville on Thursday, Jan. 19, visited the UTRGV Brownsville Campus for a special demonstration of Mursion’s Software for Educator Preparation, a virtual instruction program that helps prepare future teachers for the classroom. Leading the presentation was Dr. Patricia Alvarez McHatton (front row, fourth from right), dean of the College of Education and P-16 Integration, who said the software offers education students and faculty a unique opportunity to interact in real time with student and parent avatars in specially designed scenarios that can be tailored for business and other applications.
