Welcome to the Educational Technology Resource Center (ETRC). The ETRC is the technology support center of the College of Education and P-16 Integration (CEP). The ETRC supports Digital Media and Learning (DMAL) and research activities of the CEP faculty and students by providing computers, iPads, multimedia production, databases, online surveys, and server management.

The ETRC provides support in research, grant projects and collaborative activities that advance the use of technology to meet the educational needs of students and teachers in the Rio Grande Valley. The ETRC also houses the system administrator for Tk20, the data management system for CEP. The ETRC has a collection of children’s books and state adopted curriculum materials to be checked out by faculty and students.

Request Equipment

Faculty and staff employees of the College of Education and P-16 Integration, who are requesting to check out equipment from the ETRC office must complete a service request. Your request will be reviewed based on project/event need and availability. Dr. John Jauregui will have final approval on each request. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at (956) 665-7367.

You are required to provide the following information below for review. Requests must be submitted 3-5 business days in advance of need for project or event.

  • Project/Event name.
  • Purpose of usage.
  • Duration of your project need.

Graduate Research Office

College of Education and P-16 Integration graduate research assistants may reserve a conference room space in the ETRC office.
