Instructional Leadership Development Program (Online Course)
This is an online course. However, participants are required to attend the introductory session for two hours prior to the start date (to be announced). All ILD training materials were updated to include Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) and Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) and were distributed to trainers in June of 2005. REMINDER: ILD Training is a pre-requisite to registration for PDAS training. PDAS (Professional Development Appraisal System) appraisers not completing Instructional Leadership Development (ILD) training were required to complete "From ILT to ILD: Moving Texas Forward by September 1, 2004" in order to retain their certification as PDAS appraisers. Failing to have done so results in having to repeat the certification process--take the 36-hour Instructional Leadership Development and then take the 20-hour PDAS.
